TRACK & FIELD

This is an introductory program to the sport of Track & Field for boys and girls in grades K-5th. (Middle School Track is run through local middle schools). Participants will practice 2-3 times per week at the Linus Pauling track and compete in meets throughout the Valley, mostly on Saturday mornings. Participants have the option of events to compete in, but will be introduced to field, sprints and distance events during the practices. Boys and girls will practice together, but compete against their own grades and genders. Ribbons are awarded at each meet for athletes that place. The participation fee includes a team meet shirt and team hoodie. All participants will need to provide running shoes, shorts, sweat pants and a water bottle.

The 2-5th Grade DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MARCH 13TH – PRACTICE STARTS ON MARCH 12TH
