CHARITABLE GIVING FOR OUR FUTURE CITIZENS
As you know, the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis is much more than just a place for kids to go after school. We provide a wide scope of services to our members from art programs, teen leadership training, to homework and tutoring help. In addition we provide over 400 meals a day and help fulfill basic health care needs for many children. To date, our free dental clinic has treated over 2,000 children and we are increasingly working towards providing children with preventative rather than emergency care.
We believe that all children should have a place where they can reach their full potential so we offer our programs and services at a significantly low cost. While it costs us $1,500 a year to provide programming for each child we serve, an annual Club membership is only $25. We also give out over $30,000 a year in scholarships so kids can participate in athletics and special after-school and non-school day programs. We are able to serve the youth and families of Corvallis who need us most because of the generous support of donors like you.
The Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis is a qualified charity! As always, please phone Helen Higgins (541-757-1909 x201) here at the club if you have any questions or contact your investment professional.
Thank you for your consideration and thank you for investing in our future citizens.
Helen Higgins, CEO, Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis
