The BGCC Clubhouse is a safe and positive place, where children from nearly 900 families participate in afterschool programs including homework help, music, fitness, and more. To participate each elementary aged member must purchase a $10 annual membership and pay a monthly Clubhouse activity fee. The monthly fee ranges from $150/month to $25/month, depending on family size and household income. Approximately 90% of current after school participants will qualify for a reduced fee based on their family size and income.

Clubhouse programs feature friendly, energetic and fun staff trained to work with specific age groups, utilizing the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth Development Strategy.  We have a wide variety of programs including: homework help, art, music, computer lab, and athletic activities for school children of all ages. Incorporated in all programs and activities are the four basic “senses” or feelings which, when possessed by young people, help them build self-esteem and to develop into productive, responsible, caring citizens. These four senses are:

A sense of belonging – a setting where an individual knows he or she has a place and where he or she “fits” and is accepted.

A sense of usefulness – the opportunity to do something of value for other people.

A sense of influence – the chance to be heard and to influence decisions.

A sense of competence – the feeling there is something boys and girls can do, and do well.

A elementary Clubhouse membership is $10 per year, with a monthly activity fee based on family size and income.  A Middle school membership is $40 per year, with no monthly fee, and a high school membership is free.
