Flag Football

This program is for students in grades 3rd-8th. The season starts in early September and ends in late October. NFL Flag is a 5 on 5 league focused on passing, it is designed to help kids develop football related skills without blocking or contact. Teams play on a shorter field with a set of rules designed by the NFL. Teams will be formed by grade divisions 3/4th, 5/6th, and 7-10th,or by individual grades if registration numbers allow. Practices will take place on weekdays at Johnson Teen Center, Linus Pauling, Cheldelin MS/Williams Field, days and times are set by each coach. You can expect up to 3 activity days per week (practices & games). Games will be played on select weeknights and on Saturdays. All players will receive a reversible NFL style jersey that they keep as part of the registration fee.  Flags, footballs and mouth guards are provided. We encourage all players to wear cleats and shorts/sweats depending on weather conditions. Teams will play in the Valley League.
