Flag Football
We believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in Boys & Girls programs. A limited number of partial scholarships are available to families who qualify for financial assistance.
Our goal in Athletics is to provide a safe, comprehensive, equitable, and fun sporting environment for all involved. The BGCC Athletics Department has the right to modify, add, or move players or teams at any time to align with our goal that creates quality programs.
Flag Football
- This program is for students in grades 3-10.
- The season runs from early August 30th to October 24th.
- NFL Flag is a 5v5 league focused on passing, helping kids develop football skills without contact.
- Teams are divided into 3/4th, 5/6th, and 7-10th grades (or by individual grades if registration allows).
- Practices are at Johnson Teen Center and Corvallis Middle School.
- Coaches schedule practices to fit thier schedule. Usually two days a week starting as early as 4:30pm
- Game days will be September 19th, 26th, October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.
- Players get a reversible NFL jersey, flags, footballs, and mouthguards.
- Cleats and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
- Teams compete in the Valley League.
