Flag Football
This program is for students in grades 1-10. The season runs from early September to late October. NFL Flag is a 5v5 league focused on passing, helping kids develop football skills without contact. Teams are divided into 3/4th, 5/6th, and 7-10th grades (or by individual grades if registration allows). Practices are at Johnson Teen Center, Linus Pauling, Cheldelin MS/Williams Field, scheduled by coaches. Expect up to 3 activity days per week (practices and games). Games are on weeknights and Saturdays. Players get a reversible NFL jersey, flags, footballs, and mouthguards. Cleats and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Teams compete in the Valley League.
