Charitable IRA Giving

Important Updates
  • Charitable IRA LEGISLATION has now been extended permanently.
  • Donors aged 70½ or older may move up to $100,000 directly to qualified charities without having to include the IRA distribution in your taxable income.

You can designate the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401(K), 403(b), or pension account.

If you are looking for an excellent investment that will pay a lifetime of dividends in our community, please consider donating your annual IRA minimum required distribution to help sustain our youth development programs

Our goal is to break the persistent cycle of intergenerational poverty in Benton County, and we would be honored to have you be a part of helping us achieve this audacious goal through your generous financial support.

How do I take action?

Contact your financial advisor today who can assist you in the transfer of your IRA distribution. There are specific steps that need to be taken to qualify for this provision and the transfer must be completed by December 31 of the current year. Make checks payable to the Boys & Girls Club of Corvallis. Tax ID – 23-7153987

Please phone Helen Higgins at the Club if you have questions. 541.757.1909 x201. Thank you for your consideration and thank you for investing in our future citizens.
