Clubhouse programs feature friendly, energetic and fun staff trained to work with specific age groups, utilizing the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth Development Strategy.  We have a wide variety of programs including: homework help, art, music, computer lab, and athletic activities for school children of all ages. Incorporated in all programs and activities are the four basic “senses” or feelings which, when possessed by young people, help them build self-esteem and to develop into productive, responsible, caring citizens. These four senses are:

  • A sense of belonging – a setting where an individual knows he or she has a place and where he or she “fits” and is accepted.
  • A sense of usefulness – the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
  • A sense of influence – the chance to be heard and to influence decisions.
  • A sense of competence – the feeling there is something boys and girls can do, and do well.
