General Information

STARS

Welcome to our dynamic STARS program! STARS is a school based after-school enrichment program that we continually evolve through the course of the year to better serve the youth of Corvallis.  As your trusted partner, we provide dependable after-school care for elementary-aged kids right at your child’s school—same schedule, same place. You can count on it. Early release day? No problem.

At STARS, we support a smooth and positive transition between school and home. We know school days can come with academic and social challenges. That’s why we help kids blow off steam and hit the reset button before their evening with you. Through structured play, enrichment activities, and check-ins with caring staff, kids get the chance to troubleshoot their day, develop social skills, and—most importantly—just be kids for a while.

Whether your child loves a high-energy game of kickball or a quiet round of checkers, our team takes the time to truly get to know them—and you. Since you can’t be with them every moment of the day, we help bridge the communication gap between school and home. From quick updates about their mood to sharing teacher feedback, we keep you in the loop.

STARS is also a place for exploration, discovery, and growth.

We offer hands-on arts and science adventures that spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence. From exciting experiments to expressive art projects, your child will explore the world around them in fun, meaningful ways.

Our curriculum includes engaging opportunities in literacy, math, elementary engineering, and applied arts—all designed to help kids connect classroom learning to real-life discovery. Whether they’re building, problem-solving, creating, or collaborating, STARS is a space where kids are supported, inspired, and energized each day. With a balance of homework help, creative exploration, and purposeful play, your child will thrive in a safe, positive environment that encourages growth—and fun!
