T3: Training Teens for Tomorrow

T3: Training Teens for Tomorrow is a proactive response to Oregon’s youth skills gap in academics and career readiness. The program equips high school students with 21st-century skills by combining education, hands-on training, and employment opportunities.

How Does T3 Work?
Step One – Internship and Workshops
- Start with a paid internship where you’ll gain hands-on work experience supporting our clubhouse youth. Build real job skills in weekly workshops, learn how to be a youth mentor, and earn a stipend for your hard work!
Step Two – Paid Apprenticeship
- Take the next step as a paid apprentice. Earn an hourly wage, grow your skills in a fun, supportive environment, and continue benefitting from our workforce development programming!
Step Three – Future Ready
- Interview for summer jobs with local employers who will help you grow your skills, expand your network, and strengthen your resume. By the time you graduate high school, you’ll have a team of supportive mentors in your corner and a resume full of real experience.

Who Can Join T3?
- T3 is open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders!
- What about 9th grade? We offer a coffee shop work experience. 9th graders will work with a team to run a fully functioning coffee shop and begin building those important job skills. If you are interested in joining, stop by the teen center or reach out to our Workforce Program Manager!
